About the teacher: My name is Mrs. Angela McDowell & I am grateful to be teaching kindergarten at Ledgeview Elementary. I have been working in the Clarence Central School District since 1996 and have been teaching kindergarten in room 120 since 1999. My motto is "KINDERGARTEN IS GREAT"! It's the children who come with curious minds & smiles that make it easy to love this rewarding and often challenging career.
I grew up in California where I attended the Los Angeles Unified School District K-12. Before leaving LA & moving to Western New York I received a Degree in Early Childhood Education and taught preschool for many years. After one day as an aide at Ledgeview, it was clear to me that Clarence was an extraordinary district where education is highly valued. I was inspired to continue my education at Buffalo State College where I obtained a degree of Master of Science in Education.
I am married & blessed to have two daughters, two son-in-laws & two grandchildren who are three days apart!
is my favorite
topic & I'm happy to share my insights. If
you have any questions please email me at firstname.lastname@example.org.
