FUNDRAISING, WHY IT IS NECESSARY!
Why does the PTO fundraise?
The PTO covers some or all of the costs of extracurricular field trips and conferences, pays for honor roll recognition, funds annual senior awards and associated reception, donates to Sleep-out for the Homeless, Post Prom and SEPTSA, and sponsors an annual faculty/staff breakfast and luncheon.Within the past three years, we have purchased 30 Chromebooks for use by all faculty and students; 12 laptops, housed in the library for use by all students, and two waterbottle filling stations -- located in the main and athletic hallways. We also recently purchased a new water fountain with a filtration system and bottle filling capabilities.
All students benefit by one or more of these programs.
Your help is needed! Please consider one or more of the following ways to help us be able to help your child. If preferred, you may also make a monetary donation to the PTO. All donations are tax deductible under our status as a 501(c)(3) organization. And as always, we are open to new fund raising ideas from parents and students alike.
Princeton Review SAT Practice Test – Tests will be held three times throughout the school year. The cost is only $10 and includes a full, follow up analysis of the student's scores.
Dash's Receipts – Please consider turning in your receipts from Dash's. For every $1000 we collect, a percentage is returned to CHS. Collection boxes are located in the main office and faculty lounge. This is a simple, yet very profitable way to help our school.
Tops in Education Program – Visit TopsMarkets.com/Education to register your bonus card. When shoppers purchase select brands, a percentage of the sale is contributed to CHS. It is necessary to sign up EACH SCHOOL YEAR for the program.
Amazon Smile – Designate CHS when shopping. This program provided us a percentage of sales you and your family make on your normal Amazon purchase. There is NO increase in the sales price, Amazon just give us a portion of what you purchased. Please share this link with family and friends:
