Have you ever wondered what the PTO pays for? We would like to share some of our success stories over the past few years.
2011- The PTO raised over $70,000.00 to purchase and install our new playground!
2011- The PTO purchased six smart boards for our classrooms.
2012- The PTO purchased an additional six smart boards, now each 1st-5th grade classroom has smart board technology.
2013- The PTO purchased eighteen computers and a printer for the 4th/5th grade computer lab. The computers previously housed here were moved to the 1st grade wing were a second computer lab was created.
2013-2014- The PTO is working to purchase 25 laptops and is also hoping to support our special areas...gym, music and art with a donation to purchase much needed supplies for their classrooms.
In addition to these improvement projects the PTO pays for every child at Ledgeview to attend two field trips each year. The PTO pays over $11,000.00 annually for the cost of the field trips and transportation. Many other schools ask parents to pay this fee.
