The Clarence High School PTO plans and participates in a wide variety of events each year and we hope you will join us!
The CHS website is a great way to stay informed about both school and PTO events. There are a variety of ways to become involved in the PTO from donating food, chaperoning dances or assisting at functions. You can also support the PTO through your financial donations.
PTO monies are used to fund scholarships, provide staff appreciation days, support other events such as the Sleep Out for the Homeless and fulfill special purchase requests that might not otherwise be funded.
This past year we purchased 2 water filtration and bottle filling stations, 3 cordless speakers systems for the PE Department, a microwave for the school nurse, materials for Physics experiments, batteries for both the math and language departments and review books for underprivileged students. We also provided financial support for Phantom of the Opera production and a Special Ed cooking class field trip. We sponsored the Holiday Cookie Event, Princeton Review Practice SAT/ACT sessions, Teacher and Staff Appreciation Luncheon. We also provided volunteer support for the Sleep Out and school dances, coordinated the Summer Reading Book Sale and t-shirt sale, presented the Teacher Farewell Breakfast and hosted the Senior Awards reception.
As you can see, your support of the PTO is critical for our success.
PTO NEWS - Fall 2017
We are thankful for the wonderful education our children receive at CHS and for the supportive families that are part of the CH community. We need our families to support out school. Whether through the PTO or various booster clubs, your participation in your child's education is priceless.
Please join us at our next PTO meeting of the school year. We meet at 7pm in the High School Library. All parents and interested family members are invited to join us!
