About the Teacher:  I have been a teacher in the Clarence Central School District for 30 years. I'm a graduate of Ithaca College where I received my Bachelor's in Music Education and Violin Performance and studied with Mrs. Pamela Gearhart. I received my Masters in Violin Performance at SUNY University at Buffalo where I studied with Mr. Thomas Halpin. Currently, I perform with the Cheektowaga Symphony and am active in NYSSMA, ECMEA and ASTA. I am very committed to encouraging all my students to learn as much as they can about music. I look forward to teaching everyone with the philosophy of Dr. Shinichi  Suzuki: every child has the ability to learn about music!
