ABOUT THE TEACHER:  Dana Bennett is the Elementary Band Director and Instrumental Lesson Teacher at Clarence Center and Sheridan Hill. Entering her eleventh year of teaching, Mrs. Bennett is excited to help her Fourth and Fifth grade students on their journey to become great musicians.

 

A native of Western New York, she earned a Bachelors Degree in Music Education as well as a Performer's Certificate from the Fredonia School of Music. She holds a Masters Degree in Music Performance from Ithaca College, and has previously worked with band students at every grade level. 

 

In addition to her teaching, she enjoys freelancing throughout Western New York and currently serves as Principal Horn in the Southern Tier Symphony Orchestra. When she is not teaching or performing, she enjoys gardening, swimming, and playing boardgames with her family.
