    Homework is intended to reinforce lessons taught in class.
     
    - Your second grader will have nightly math homework Monday through Thursday.
     
    - Word Study homework will be given Monday and Wednesday nights (2 times per week).  Word Study quizzes will be given each Friday.
     
    - Reading logs will help your child track his/her nightly reading.  Reading for at least 20 minutes each day at home is requested.
