Requests for Teacher or Principal APPR Score
Parental Requests - Teacher or Principal Composite Effectiveness Scores
In accordance with New York Education Law Section 3012-d, parents and legal guardians may request the final quality rating and composite effectiveness score for each of the teachers and for the principal of the school building in which your student(s) is assigned for the current school year. The District will also provide you with an oral or written explanation of the composite effectiveness scoring ranges for final quality ratings, and an opportunity to understand such scores in the context of teacher evaluation and student performance.
Please send requests for releasing teacher or principal effectiveness scores to:
Robert Michel, Assistant Superintendent for Human Resources
Clarence Central School District
9625 Main St.
Clarence, NY 14031The request form is available for download using the link below. Please mail your request or drop it off at the location designated above; faxed or emailed requests will not be accepted. It is the obligation of the school district to verify all information provided in this request.
Please be reminded that the law provides that a parent may only obtain the final rating and composite effectiveness score for the teachers and principal to whom their child is assigned for the current school year. Therefore, parents may not receive the composite score for teachers their child was assigned in the prior year or for other teachers in their child's school.
