Our expectations of you:
Be on time= You are now a high school student, therefore, we expect you to act as such. Unless otherwise detained and provided with a pass, you will be in your seat, ready to work when the bell rings. These rules will be enforced through school guidelines and disciplinary procedures.
Be Prepared= You will come to each class session with all of the required materials that you will need for the day. You will not be allowed to go to your locker after the beginning of class, so you must learn to be prepared!
Be Polite= We run a classroom of mutual respect. We will show you the utmost respect at all times and we expect you to do the same in return. Every person in our classroom has a right to speak and be respected. We expect you to show your peers as much respect as you show your teachers.
Homework=Homework will be assigned regularly. Failure to complete homework will result in a detention as well as a deduction of points.
Absences= If you are absent from school it is your responsibility to find out what you have missed. A folder with each day’s assignments will be present in the classroom. You will be responsible for checking the folder when you have returned from your absence, and turning in assignments no later than one week after you first received it.
