    Welcome to fifth grade! Our classroom schedule for 2019-2020: 
     
    School begins at 8:10 A.M. with school doors opening to enter at 7:45 A.M. - once the kids are in the classroom: 

     7:50 -   8:10  -  arrival/morning routines/morning work 
     8:10 -   8:15  -  Morning announcements 
     8:15 -   8:30  -  Continue morning work 
     8:30 -   9:15  -  Reading 
     9:15 -  10:10 -  Writing  
    10:10-  10:40  - Rti (Response to Intervention - students who need additional help receive it here and enrichment)
    10:40 - 11:25  - Specials (Art, Physical Education, Music, Chorus) I will update when I know the days 
    11:25 - 12:00  - Lunch 
    12:00 - 12:30  - Recess  (M, T, W, F -  Thursdays kids have an additional PE time called Fitness Block)
                                            recess is outside - even in the winter; when raining - recess in the class) 
    12:30 -   1:15 -  Science and Social Studies - will alternate 
     1:15 -    2:15 -  Math
