Clarence sports has built its reputation on excellence, character, integrity, and good sportsmanship. Student athletes, coaches, teachers, administrators, and private citizens have contributed to the overall success of the Clarence Athletic Program.
The Clarence High School Athletic Department Wall of Fame was established to recognize and honor those individuals who have brought distinction to the Clarence Athletic Program through their leadership, participation, or support.
Former student athletes who graduated at least five years ago, retired coaches and administrators, and others who have provided meritorious service are eligible for nomination. Nomination forms are available by by clicking on the link in the navigation bar to the left.
Wall of Fame Mission StatementTo recognize outstanding accomplishments made by individuals who have added distinction to Clarence Athletics through leadership, participation, or support.
- Student athletes are eligible five years after graduation.
- Coaches and administrators are eligible upon retirement
- At-large members may be nominated at any time.
Nomination ProcedureAnyone may place a name in nomination by completing a nomination form. Nomination forms are available by clicking on the link in the navigation bar to the left. Nominations must be received or postmarked by December 23 for consideration for the upcoming year. All nominations will be permanently stored in a file for consideration for the upcoming year as well as future years. Candidates are required to submit a detailed application to the Selection Committee. Please call the High School athletic office at 407-9043 if you need additional information.
Selection ProcessThe Wall of Fame Selection Committee will review all completed applications and announce their decision in early spring. Up to six individuals may be selected each year. Applicants' forms will remain on file for future consideration.
Wall of Fame Selection CommitteeThe Wall of Fame Selection Committee consists of six members from the Physical Education department, the CHS coaching staff and CHS faculty members.
The Inductees will be honored at a special ceremony and reception hosted by the Varsity Club in the Clarence High School Auditorium during Homecoming Week in 2024. A plaque for each inductee will be placed on permanent display in the Clarence High School athletic complex. Inductees and their families will be invited to be announced that evening at the football game. They will also be given VIP parking for the game.
