Effective Date: November 25, 2024

Starting Salary: $100,000 - $108,000

Candidates must be reachable according to Civil Service Regulations via the Erie County Eligible List.

Must possess a valid NYS Class B Operators License at the time of appointment.

Requirements: 

A. 3 years of satisfactory experience in operation of a vehicle requiring a Class B license, 2 years of which must have been in a supervising or administrative capacity; 

OR

B. 3 years of satisfactory experience in the maintenance & repair of automobiles, trucks, or buses, 2 years of which must have been in a supervising or administrative capacity;

OR

C. An equivalent combination of training & experience as defined by A and B.

Starting Base Salary: $24.00/hour; Commensurate with experience

Requirements:

--CDL Class B License with S&P endorsements

--DMV 19-A Certified Examiner

--SED School Bus Driver Instructor-Certified

--Will drive school bus if necessary

Requirements:

--Preferred School Bus Experience

--CDL Class "B" license with "S" & "P" endorsements (will train if needed)

--Graduation from a high school or vocational school 

-- 3 years experience as an automotive mechanic
