Sex Offender Notices

The Clarence Central School District will utilize this web page to post notifications under the provisions of New York State's Sex Offender Registration Act, also known as "Megan's Law".  Information on Level 2 sex offenders that is received from the Erie County Sheriff will be posted on this page. 

An assigned risk level of 2 means that the risk to the community is moderate. An assigned risk of level 3 means that the risk to the community is high.  Megan's Law clearly defines the information that can be disseminated by the police about convicted offenders living in their jurisdiction and the school district in turn is committed to passing along that same information to our residents. For Level 2 offenders, general information including zip code, photo, and background crime information can be released. For Level 3 offenders, the home address can also be released.

The Erie County Sheriff's Office manages a searchable web page where information about offenders can be elicited.  Visitors to the site can also register for email alerts.
