Registration Process

Student Registration Process

Please start here for new or returning K-12 students to the district, children registering with Student Support Services, and non-public students living in the district

Step 1- Submit the Address Verification Form 

  • Once this is approved you will receive an email, at the address you provided, with instructions on how to create a parent portal or link your prospective student to an existing portal account.

Step 2- Create (or Login to) your Parent Portal Account 

  • Use the instructions provided in your email and the Access ID/Passcode (found at the bottom of the email you received) to link your student to your account.

Step 3- In the Parent Portal Submit Enrollment Forms A through M

  • Select your student from the top row and then click forms on the left column to complete all of the Registration forms   (A-M), ensuring the Required Documentation is uploaded.
  •  Please keep in mind accurate information from your previous school is very crucial to the registration process.
  • All children must meet New York State immunization requirements. You must also provide proof of a NYS physical. 
  • Uploading a current report card (optional) may assist with faster classroom placement

Your child’s registration will be considered incomplete until all the forms (A-M) are submitted AND approved by the district registrar.

Step 4- You will receive communication from the building your child is attending

  •  Once all documents are received and the registration is complete, the building will set a time for you to meet with a counselor and set up a class schedule or to inform you of your child’s classroom assignment and official start date.
  • You will be notified by the transportation department with your child’s bus number, pickup time, drop-off time, and the first date transportation will be provided.
  • Please keep in mind the transportation department requires two days from receipt of an approved registration to start a student on a route, so alternate transportation may need to be provided until your student is started on a route.
