7th Graders and Families,
It is hard to believe we are halfway through the school year. Students have completed their midterm exams and should use those to reflect on their learning so far this year. I encourage parents to talk to their students about how they did on their exams and what content may need to be revisited. On February 14th, we will have Woods Runner day where students will participate in various activities that relate to the book they have been reading in ELA. This also aligns well with their work in Social Studies. As spring approaches, students can easily be distracted from school work. Having routines, monitoring electronic use, and talking to your child about their school day can help keep students focused. As always, students are encouraged to use resources like the Learning Center and Success Lunch to get work done and/or seek help.
Do not hesitate to contact me or Mrs. Tudor if you have any questions or concerns.Ashley Dreibelbis7th Grade House Principal
