Band Program

The Clarence Central Schools Band Program offers small group lesson and performance ensemble opportunities for students who participate. Students begin playing at the elementary level in fourth grade, and the program extends through the middle school and high school levels.

Small group lessons take place weekly at all levels. Band rehearsals take place twice per week at the fourth grade level (as students are added to the existing 5th grade ensemble), twice per week at the fifth grade level, and daily at the middle school and high school. Bands are grouped by grade level in at the elementary and middle school levels; high school band placement is determined by audition.
