Vocal and General Music
The Clarence Central Schools Choral Program offers small group lessons from eighth grade to twelfth grade. Performance ensemble opportunities are available for students who participate in chorus at the elementary level extending through the middle school and high school levels. General Music classes are required at the elementary and middle school levels.
Choir rehearsals take place once per week at the fourth and fifth grade levels, and daily at the middle school and high school levels. Choruses are grouped by grade at the elementary and middle school levels while high school chorus placement is determined by audition. General Music classes take place once per week at the elementary level, quarterly at the sixth grade level; and students in seventh and eighth grade who do not participate in an ensemble are required to take General Music one quarter per school year.
