A group of players from Clarence’s flag football team will represent the Buffalo Bills and western New York as they compete in the first-ever NFL FLAG Championships.

In its first two seasons of competition, Clarence has won Section VI titles. The team took part in the inaugural state championships this past season after winning the regional title. The event, taking place at the Hall of Fame Village in Canton, Ohio, will feature over 280 teams of girls and boys from across the country as well as Canada, Mexico, Great Britain, Germany, China and Australia representing all 32 NFL clubs.

“This is an incredible opportunity for our girls to represent the Buffalo Bills at the Flag Football Championships in Canton,” said Mark Layer, the team’s coach. “We are excited to help continue to grow this great game. The competition will be outstanding,”
