Clarence High School Names Top Three Students of Class of 2026
Years of hard work, dedication and perseverance were recognized as Clarence High School’s Guidance and Counseling Office named the top three students of the Class of 2026.
Breanna Lukacz was named class valedictorian, Ella Celej was named salutatorian, and Sydney Silverstein was the third-highest ranked student.
Breanna said the three have shared classes together during their time at the High School, and said the final rankings could have gone in favor of any of the three top students.
“It’s nice to see given how hard we’ve worked, and to see that recognition on paper,” Breanna said.
Breanna and Sydney began their educational journey in Clarence at Clarence Center Elementary School, while Ella first attended Harris Hill Elementary School in fifth grade. Breanna said she would like to study neuroscience, and that she was finalizing her college choice. Ella said she is considering a biotechnology program while studying at Worcester University, where she will play ice hockey. Sydney said she plans to study biochemistry, but has not decided where she will attend college.
“These three students are the very best at Clarence High School,” said Principal Kenneth Smith. “Their commitment to excellence, resilience through challenges, and support for one another reflect not only their individual achievements, but the strength of our entire school community. We are incredibly proud of Breanna, Ella, and Sydney, and look forward to all they will accomplish in the future.”
Clarence High School’s graduation is scheduled for Thursday, June 25. More information about the three as well as the other top performing students of Clarence High School’s Class of 2026 will be shared with the community in the District’s Graduation Newsletter, which will be released this summer.
