Clarence Staff Present Money for Oishei Children's Hospital Raised at 'Prom with a Purpose'

Staff across the District celebrated their hard work and fundraising spirit as they donated $9,409 to the Patricia Allen Fund at Oishei Children's Hospital.

The money was raised during the "Prom With a Purpose" event for staff, held on January 28, 2025. The evening was filled with dancing, dressed up and dressed down fashion and basket raffles and auction items. 

"As educators, we work with kids and this is a great way to give back," Harris Hill Elementary principal Robert Boccaccio told The Children's Hospital of Buffalo Foundation. "Connecting it to the Patricia Allen Fund and Oishei Children’s Hospital seemed to be fitting for the work that we do and respecting the work that the hospital does." 

A check with funds for the hospital was presented on June 26, 2025. More than 30 district employees from all six schools as well as the District office supported the organizing committee, meeting for months to launch the event.
