Flag Day Celebrated at Clarence Central School District

The school community at the Clarence Central School District showed their love for the red, white and blue as they marked Flag Day with educational lessons and school wide celebrations.

At Clarence Center Elementary School, students marched the streets of the hamlet before taking part in a ceremony at the front of the school building on June 13, 2025, a day before the holiday takes place. Flag Day marks the anniversary of the adoption of the flag of the United States in 1777. Harris Hill Elementary School, Ledgeview Elementary School and Sheridan Hill Elementary School held similar celebrations with music and other patriotic activities with students, families and members of the community.
