Students Succeed at ECC Tech Wars Event

Students from Clarence High School and Clarence Middle School rose to the challenge as they competed against students from across the region at the ECC Tech Wars event on May 21.  A total of 27 High School and 29 Middle School students from Clarence took part in the competition, with events in a wide range of specialties and skills.

Clarence students were among the top finishers in multiple events: 

On-Site Engineering / Problem Solving: 2nd Place: Tom Bittar and Nate Grek
 
Computer Aided Manufacturing: 1st Place: Brian Kazmierczak 3rd Place: Drayton Kwiatek
 
Mousetrap Car: 1st Place: Aurora Hammond, Bri Ruzzine, and Tatum Showalter 2nd Place: Shane Stoll and Owen Zdrojewski
 
Cardboard Chair: 2nd Place: Gaurav Satwase, Jacob McGann, and Leo Bodensteiner

Rube Goldberg: 1st: Maddie Dauscher, Caroline Gaume, Emma Zwierschke 2nd - Gianna Altamura, Isabelle Pegg, Hannah Wetland
