VIDEO: Students, Staff, Families Pay Tribute to Harris Hill Elementary School Playground

Students, staff and families gave a fond farewell to the playground at Harris Hill Elementary School on June 18, 2026 with a school picture and the reciting of the school's Husky Pledge.

The playground, designed by Robert Leathers and built in 1989, has been a destination for families in the community for decades. A new playground was approved in 2024 as part of a District capital project and, following design input from a committee of school officials and community members, construction will begin in the coming weeks.
