Work-Based Learning Spotlight: The Cheesy Chick Food Truck & Cafe

Students at Clarence High School are building skills and connections in the community as they take part in internships through the high school’s Work-Based Learning Program. Internships are seen as key to helping students prepare for life after completing school, and many students are finding exciting ways to become involved.

Student Kate is taking part in an internship with The Cheesy Chick Food Truck & Cafe, helping with things like packaging work. Students have interned for many years with Cheesy Chick, creating a unique opportunity for on-campus work.
