Wall of Fame

The School Improvement Team of Clarence High School established the Academic Wall of Fame to honor former members of the school community who have achieved distinction through professional, civic, or humanitarian service.

Anyone may submit a nomination, provided the candidate meets certain eligibility requirements. Students are eligible for nomination ten years after graduation. Faculty, staff, administrators, school board members, and volunteers are eligible upon retirement. Individuals may be nominated for achievement in one of the three following categories:

  • excellence in their chosen field;
  • meritorious service to a humanitarian cause;
  • a significant contribution to the community.

Nominations for induction to the Wall of Fame are accepted year round. Nominations received by the February 1st deadline will be considered for induction the following June. Nominations received after the deadline will be held for consideration the following year.

Potential candidates will be notified of their nomination and invited to submit a detailed resume. After reviewing applications, the selection committee will make a decision and publicly announce the names of the individuals chosen for induction. Up to three individuals may be inducted each year. Candidates not selected in their first year of nomination will remain in consideration for the following year.

You can submit your nomination via the Google Form on the Clarence High School website. Go to "Building Information" and select "Wall of Fame" at the bottom of the dropdown menu. You can also mail in your nomination to Clarence High School, Attn: School Improvement Team, 9625 Main Street, Clarence, NY 14031.
