Post Prom - For Businesses

Dear Local Business Owner:

We are writing to ask you for your help with a cause extremely close to our hearts. We represent the Clarence High School Post Prom committee. We are a 501(3)c non-profit group that is asking for your tax deductible donation to help fund our event.

Recognizing the potential dangers of prom night, the Clarence High School PTO began holding a Post Prom party for the senior class following the Prom, which will be held on June 21 after Prom. Statistics show the months around Prom and graduation are the most dangerous times for teens. One-third of all alcohol-related traffic fatalities involving teens occur during those months. This event is designed as a drug and alcohol-free party, chaperoned by many teachers and parents. Now a tradition, the Post Prom party provides special memories for Seniors as they prepare for graduation and beyond.

The success of Post Prom relies on our ability to keep students entertained and motivated to stay for the duration of the party. A wide variety of activities are offered to keep the students engaged, having fun and making fabulous memories with their friends. Prizes galore will be awarded at the end of the night. We want to make this event one they won’t forget!

Your tax-deductible sponsorship/donation will help us to provide a wonderful post prom experience for our students. It takes $20,000 to stage a successful event of this scale. We are asking for your help in the form of cash donations, gift certificates or merchandise.

All business sponsors will be recognized on the Clarence High School Post Prom web page, social media pages, as well as being acknowledged on the Business Donor signage on the night of the event.
