Fundraising & Programs

The Harris Hill PTO provides funding and assistance for many school events, activities, and equipment. One of the ways we are able to do this is by fundraising. Fundraising events include the following:

  • Color Run: This is our biggest fundraising event. The PTO earns a percentage of the amount raised and students can earn fundraising-based prizes and incentives. This is an incredible event enjoyed by many of our Harris Hill families! Check out our Facebook page for photos from last year's Color Run.
  • Dash's Receipts: Dash's donates 3% of the total redeemed! Save your Dash's receipts and have your child drop them in the bin labeled "Dash's Receipts" near the gym. 
  • Gift Card Raffle: Purchase tickets for a chance to win a $1000 gift card! Details will be sent home in late-October/early-November.
  • Meat Raffle: Details will be sent home in early 2025. This is one of our biggest fundraisers and so much fun! Please note, it's also adult only event.
  • Restaurant Night: Throughout the year, the PTO works with local restaurants to organize a night where a percentage of their sales is donated back to the PTO. Keep an eye out for emails with more information. 

Each year, the following events and activities are sponsored by the PTO:

  • Red Ribbon week activities
  • 5th grade picnic 
  • 5th grade promotion
  • Ice Cream social
  • Chalk Walk
  • Staff Appreciation 
  • Student Directories
  • And more! 

Other purchases include or have included:

  • Playground improvements
  • Sound system improvements
  • Free books for each student at the Book Fair
  • Signs above the doors
  • Habitat Improvements
  • And more!
