Dismissal Pick-Up Procedures

ALL DISMISSAL CHANGES ARE REQUIRED BY 12:00 pm

• Any daily change to dismissal, please notify your child’s teacher, as well as the Attendance Office (mdavoli@clarenceschools.org and teacher’s email).
• Permanent dismissal changes MUST BE IN WRITING.

Bus Riders:

1. Buses leave the parking lot at approximately 2:25pm.
2. Transportation requires prior written approval for bus changes.
3. Your child may only ride the bus assigned to them, not to a friend’s house.
4. The Transportation Department can be reached at 716-407-9500.

Parent Pick-ups:

1. Dismissal begins at 2:30pm; you may begin lining up at 2:15pm.
2. When picking your child(ren) off, please follow the route with the green arrows.  Staff will be outside to assist your child(ren). 
3. Please remain in your vehicle.
4. Have you ‘Name Card’ on your dashboard (will come home the first day of school).
5. Your child will only be released to someone on your approved list.
6. Make sure whoever is picking up has identification.

Walkers and Bike Riders:

1. A note is needed each and every day your child will be walking or riding a bike.
2. Walkers and bike riders are released after all buses have been dismissed.
3. There is a crossing guard at Harris Hill from September through June.

EARLY DISMISSAL

1:30 PM IS THE LATEST FOR EARLY DISMISSALS DUE TO BUSES IN THE LOOP

• Sign your child out at the front doors, you will need identification.
• Your child will not be called out of class until you arrive.
