PTO

We'd like to extend a warm welcome to our new and returning Sheridan Hill families! The Sheridan Hill PTO is a volunteer organization made up of all parents, teachers, staff and administration in our school and we are dedicated to the successful education of our children.  The PTO works hard to help make the school year both enjoyable and exciting for the students, staff, and parents.

Our purpose is to aid the students and staff by providing support for educational and recreational needs, to promote open communication between all members and encourage school spirit and pride.  We are looking forward to meeting all the Sheridan Hill families and hope many of you get involved with our PTO this year. We encourage you to not only join our organization, but participate in many events as well! Everything we do is based on volunteers.  If you can give some time, day or evenings, please join us! Many hands make the job easier.

Thanks to the generous support of our parent community, the PTO has been able to fund many exciting projects and equipment purchases. We completed the Shade on the Playground project, adding three shade structures, concrete and tables. We also resealed and restripped the basketball courts, installed a Gaga Pit, purchased new gym mats, and made numerous indoor updates to create a warmer, more welcoming environment.  

In addition to these projects, the PTO produly funds and supports many beloved activities each year - such as the 5th grade promotion and picnic, cider run, field day and staff appreciation. We also host fun social events for families, including our annual Color Run, Clark's Birthday Bash, Trunk or Treat, Book Fair, Sweetheart Dance, Bingo Night, and more.  

With your support and involvement, we can continue bringing these wonderful experiences to our children.We'd love to have you join us at our PTO meetings - September 23 and March 3 at 6:30 PM in the library.
