Update from Clarence CSD June 24, 2022

Dear Clarence School Family,

As they say in Hollywood—that’s a wrap!

As the 2021-2022 school year comes to a close, I just wanted to say thanks for sharing your children with us these past 10 months. They have enriched our lives as educators, and we feel so fortunate that you have entrusted them to our care. We began the year with a mix of optimism and uncertainty, and because of your support, we have been able to create an environment in which our learners have thrived as artists, athletes, leaders, and thinkers.

When I joined the Red Devil school community last summer, a colleague remarked that, “a Clarence education will change your path in life.” A year later, I can see why.

Clarence provides an uncommon range of opportunities for kids, and our graduates leave ready to excel in higher education, the armed forces, and the world of work. If you are searching for proof, look no further than our graduation speaker for tomorrow morning. Mr. Mark Murphy is a Clarence graduate, and a former NFL player who is currently the President and CEO of the Green Bay Packers. Although I will spend most of Mr. Murphy’s speech trying to steal his playbook for the Bills to use in Week 8 of the upcoming season, I can’t wait to hear his words of wisdom for our seniors.

Bad jokes aside, thanks for everything this past year. We hope you can use July and August to relax and recharge, and we can’t wait to start the journey again with you in the fall!
