Robert Boccaccio Selected as Next Harris Hill Principal

The Clarence Central School District is pleased to announce that Robert Boccaccio will be recommended for appointment as the next Harris Hill Elementary School Principal. Mr. Boccaccio has been working as a grades K-12 Principal for Erie 1 BOCES since 2017, and the Board of Education will be appointing him to a probationary position when it meets on July 11, 2022.

Matt Frahm, School Superintendent, commented that the District is, “thrilled with the selection.” He said that more than 30 stakeholders “took the time to serve in the hiring process,” and commented that “Mr. Boccaccio has proven himself to be a natural at building relationships, communicating effectively, and nurturing a safe environment.”

Before working as a grades K-12 Principal at Erie 1 BOCES, Mr. Boccaccio served as the Director of Curriculum and Instruction for the Health Sciences Charter School. Mr. Boccaccio holds a Bachelor of Arts in Biological Sciences Degree from Southern Methodist University, a Master of Science in Education Degree from Niagara University, and he completed his administrative coursework at Canisius College.

When asked about becoming the next Harris Hill Principal, Mr. Boccaccio remarked, “I feel a sense of excitement, privilege, and honor to work alongside of a faculty and staff that is clearly dedicated to providing an exceptional educational experience for the students and families we serve. Together, we can ensure all students feel safe, valued, welcomed, and affirmed on a daily basis in order to maximize each individual’s personal and academic potential. I’m grateful to serve the Harris Hill community and to carry on the #ClarenceProud traditions that set our schools apart. Go Huskies!”
