Junior Stephanie Magera has earned a full scholarship (Frederick Fennell Scholar Program) to attend the prestigious six-week Interlochen Center for the Arts as a tuba player in the World Youth Wind Symphony. This international summer festival is held yearly in Interlochen, Michigan, and is attended by some of the best musicians from around the world. While in attendance, Stephanie will work with some of the country’s best tuba teachers and wind band conductors. In addition, the Interlochen World Youth Wind Symphony will perform a weekly concert that will be streamed live on-line. At CHS, Stephanie is a member of the Wind Ensemble, Pit Orchestra, Jazz Ensemble, and Symphony Orchestra. In addition, she is a member of the Greater Buffalo Youth Orchestra. Congratulations!
