For the past 22 years the Clarence Rotary Club and the CHS Interact Club have hosted a conference called New Generations. The overall mission of the event is to have leaders of today meet with leaders of tomorrow. The conference consists of a panel discussion of local leaders, including those in government, education, health care, media, and business with approximately 120 students from area schools. Our goal is to discuss any topic that is important to the youth of today and to create solutions. The topics that were highlighted this year included substance abuse, mental health and education. The event concluded with a luncheon in the library where students could interact with each other as well as the panelists.
