Student Parking 2023-2024
It is a privilege for a student to park their car on campus. To gain and maintain this privilege, students must register their car with the main office, complete a Parking Lot Safety Course with Officer Ballow, drive safely, and be a good school citizen.
Student parking is free and open to all Seniors and Juniors with a valid driver's license and current school parking permit tag. The student parking areas are in the south parking lot and are designated with white striping. Students will not be assigned specific spots. All other yellow striped areas are designated for faculty, staff, and visitors. These areas are off limits to student drivers between the hours of 6:30 AM - 4:00 PM.
The Parking Lot Safety Courses will take place:
Wednesday, January 17 - 7:45 AM - 8:45 AM - Lecture Hall
This class is required for Seniors and Juniors who want a parking permit. Students can take the safety course at anytime but will not be issued a parking tag until they have a valid license.

Once the student has completed the Parking Lot Safety Course and the Parking Permit Application, students can pick up their parking tag in the high school main office before or after school. Students must bring a printed copy of the completed Parking Permit Disclaimer Form and the Certificate of Completion of the Parking Lot Safety Course in order to receive their parking permit tag. Tags must be displayed hanging on the rearview mirror when parked on school property. Any car without a current parking tag will be ticketed.
CHS reserves the right to revoke or temporarily suspend parking privileges due to behavior infractions or other violations of the Student Code of Conduct or if parking rules are violated.
